Ambience was good but for the price I would've expected a lot more. No sausages, bacon or pancakes to go with maple syrup...?? Hot dog weiners really? For the $32.00 was very disappointed and then to charge $3.00 each for a wagon ride, just ridiculous really. Staff were nice and friendly.We won't be returning.
Food was average as every other sugar shack I've been to... the fun part is the big slides and tunnels for both kids and adults. We had a blast axe throwing as well and the kid loved the play area. Fair prices and great service at the table. Coffee was also pretty good and the boutique is an attraction itself. The downside is their "mini farm" - more like two goats and one alpaca. Would definitely go there again since it is so conveniently located 20 min. away from home!
The price of $32 per person (price hike because of Easter) was much too high for the mediocre food we received. The service was very good, no complaints there. I would rate it 2 1/2 stars.
The place is really nice and well decorated. The food however is average. It's a great place to go with a large group of people. You would go there for the experience and ambiance rather than for the food. The maple taffy is delicious as expected.
The food was okay. "Pancakes" were more like tiny crepes and not fluffy at all. The "pudding" was amazing though. Not all of the staff spoke English but they got by or found someone to help. The top trees were far from the dining area. The guy running the place gave us some good insight on the maple syrup cartel.
